What is OKAPI PankrEMS forte?
PankrEMS forte was specifically developed by us to support the metabolism in horses that have issues with their natural blood sugar regulation. The consequence of this disorder is often obesity or a tendency to develop hoof problems when exposed to high levels of sugar or starch in their feed. However, horses that display external signs which suggest a potential Cushing’s issue may also suffer from impaired blood sugar regulation. PankrEMS forte specifically supports the natural metabolism of the liver and muscles, which are essential in the physiological regulation of blood sugar levels.
Is OKAPI PankrEMS forte suitable for my horse?
PankrEMS forte is particularly suitable for horses that struggle with their natural blood sugar regulation. This includes horses that are overweight and often have poor blood sugar regulation, as well as those that are sensitive to high sugar or starch levels in their diet and may develop hoof problems. Horses whose outward appearance suggests inadequate blood sugar regulation can also benefit from PankrEMS forte.
Can I combine OKAPI PankrEMS forte with other products?
OKAPI PankrEMS forte can be fed in combination with OKAPI Spirulina and OKAPI Psyllium Seeds for additional metabolic support. However, due to its high content of trace elements, this supplement should only be fed up to 1% of the daily ration for horses.

How is OKAPI PankrEMS forte fed?

How do I calculate the correct dosage for my horse?
To calculate the appropriate dose for OKAPI PankrEMS forte, determine the weight of the horse. The horse’s weight can be measured by weighing, using a measuring tape, or with apps like the BCI App from our partner Sanoanimal (available for free in the Google Play and the Apple Store).
The general recommendation for OKAPI products is based on a 600 kg horse. The recommended daily amount is 1 mL (1 scoop = 10 g).
To adjust the dose: If the horse weighs 300 kg, the dose should be adjusted accordingly. The calculation is as follows: daily dose (10 g) / 600 kg × weight of the horse (300 kg) = daily ration (5 g). This method helps determine the appropriate amount.
Due to the higher content of trace elements, this supplement should only be fed up to 1% of the horse’s daily ration.
What is included in OKAPI PankrEMS forte?
OKAPI PankrEMS contains: Ground herbal mix (includes: Blueberry leaves, Mate, Meadowsweet, Goat’s rue, Knotweed, Rosehip shells, Lapacho, Stevia, Dandelion), Yeast (inactivated), Frankincense, Grapefruit seed meal.

12,000 mg Zinc (3b607) as Glycine-Zinc chelate-hydrate,

In PankrEMS forte, micronized yeast is used, which is dead and therefore cannot become active in the gut. The yeast strain contained is rich in valuable nutrients that support natural blood sugar regulation.
