What is OKAPI ColoRazza ?
OKAPI ColoRazza is a specialised complementary feed designed to support the normalisation of the microbiome in the large intestine of horses. It aids horses with significant dysbiosis in the large intestine and offers a natural alternative to the use of colloidal silver.
Is OKAPI ColoRazza suitable for my horse?
OKAPI ColoRazza is suitable for all horses whose gut balance does not respond to a natural diet and typical colon restoration measures, or does not respond sufficiently.
Can I combine OKAPI ColoRazza with other products?
Yes, it is recommended to combine OKAPI ColoRazza with OKAPI Bitter Herbs and OKAPI ColoBalance. If needed, OKAPI Liquorice Extract can also be added.
How long should I feed OKAPI ColoRazza ?

How do I calculate the correct dosage for my horse?
To calculate the appropriate dose of OKAPI ColoRazza for your horse, follow these steps:
Determine the horse’s weight:
You can determine the weight of your horse using a scale, a measuring tape, or the BCI app (available for free on Google Play and the Apple Store) from our partner Sanoanimal.
Feeding recommendation:
For a 600 kg horse: The general dosage is 30 g per day, divided into three meals (10 g per meal).
Adjust the dose:
For a 300 kg horse:
Calculate the amount as follows:
30 g 600 kg×300 kg=15 g600kg30g×300kg=15g per day (divided into three meals, i.e. 5 g per meal).
For a 450 kg horse:
Calculate the amount as follows:
30 g 600 kg×450 kg=22,5 g600kg30g×450kg=22,5g per day (divided into three meals, i.e. 7.5 g per meal).
Ponies:
Depending on the size and weight of the pony, the amount can be reduced by about half. For a pony weighing around 300 kg, the dosage would be approximately 15 g per day (divided into three meals).
Duration of use:
OKAPI ColoRazza should not be fed for longer than one week due to its composition.
The dose can be adjusted depending on the individual needs of the horse and the severity of the dysbiosis. In persistent cases, the daily dose can be doubled. It is important to distribute the daily amount across three meals or at least administer it in the morning and evening.
